JUNE 01’
No Lesson (VBS)


  1. He who belongs to God hears what God says. John 8:47a
  2. How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? Psalms 13:1 
  3. Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath. Be merciful to me, Lord, for I am faint; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are in agony. Psalms 6:1-2
  4. Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my sighing. Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. Psalms 5:1-3
  5. Lord, the king rejoices in your strength. How great is his joy in the victories you give! You have granted him the desire of his heart and have not withheld the request of his lips. Psalms 21:1-2

JUNE 08’

MORAL:  God wants us to help others.

  1. And without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6a
  2. How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? Psalms 13:2

LESSON PLAN (ABOVE 6 YRS): Rejoice in Christ
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: Philippians 4:2-9
MORAL: We should be joyful even in difficult circumstances.

  1. My soul is in anguish. How long, O Lord, how long? Turn, O Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love. Psalms 6:3-4
  2. You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell. The arrogant cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who do wrong. You destroy those who tell lies; bloodthirsty and deceitful men the Lord abhors. Psalms 5:4-6
  3. You welcomed him with rich blessings and placed a crown of pure gold on his head. He asked you for life, and you gave it to him-- length of days, for ever and ever. Through the victories you gave, his glory is great; you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty. Psalms 21:3-5

JUNE 15’
No Lesson (VBS)

  1. You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast. Isaiah 26:3a
  2. Look on me and answer, O Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death; Psalms 13:3
  3. No one remembers you when he is dead. Who praises you from the grave? I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. Psalms 6:5-6
  4. But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house; in reverence will I bow down toward your holy temple. Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies-- make straight your way before me. Psalms 5:7-8
  5. Surely you have granted him eternal blessings and made him glad with the joy of your presence. For the king trusts in the Lord; through the unfailing love of the Most High he will not be shaken. Your hand will lay hold on all your enemies; your right hand will seize your foes. Psalms 21:6-8

JUNE 22’

LESSON PLAN (below 6yrs): David meets Goliath
MORAL:  God helps us to be brave.

  1. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, Jeremiah 29:11a
  2. my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall. Psalms 13:4

LESSON PLAN: Be content and generous           
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: Philippians 4:10-23
MORAL: Contentment comes from trusting God.


  1. My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes. Away from me, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping. Psalms 6:7-8
  2. Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with destruction. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongue they speak deceit. Declare them guilty, O God! Let their intrigues be their downfall. Banish them for their many sins, for they have rebelled against you. Psalms 5:9-10
  3. At the time of your appearing you will make them like a fiery furnace. In his wrath the Lord will swallow them up, and his fire will consume them. You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from mankind. Psalms 21:9-10

JUNE 29’

LESSON PLAN (below 6yrs): David and Jonathan
MORAL: God wants us to be good friends

  1. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; II Corinthians 5:17a
  2. But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for he has been good to me. Psalms 13:5-6

 (No Lesson for kids 6 & above – Worship in the Sanctuary)


  1. The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer. All my enemies will be ashamed and dismayed; they will turn back in sudden disgrace. Psalms 6:9-10
  2. But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Psalms 5:11-12
  3. Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed; for you will make them turn their backs when you aim at them with drawn bow. Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength; we will sing and praise your might. Psalms 21:11-13
